Board of Trustees

What are the best things about Morrisson-Reeves Library? What is the library's role in the community? How will the library change with the future? These are the questions posed to the Board of Trustees of Morrisson-Reeves Library. And their answers, unknown to them, were generally the same. The library is a place that provides access to information and entertainment for a diverse community. While the future holds many changes in technology, their view is that the library's role will remain the same; to provide access to information and entertainment for a diverse community. And the best thing about the library? You guessed it; entertainment and access to information. The response to these questions indicate the approach the board takes when charting a course for the library, whether navigating through the present or sailing on to the future. The most important concept taken into consideration is access. Access to all members of the community to as much information as they need whether it be through materials, programs or new technology.
