Morrisson-Reeves Library Offers
Download Audiobooks, eBooks, Music, and Video
Best-selling and classic titles available
anytime, anywhere
(RICHMOND, INDIANA) – November 30, 2011
– Morrisson-Reeves Library is expanding its services with audiobooks,
eBooks, music, and video, available to download from the library’s
website. Library card holders can check out and download digital media
anytime, anywhere by visiting the library's website at http://www.mrlinfo.org.
Users may browse the library’s website, check
out with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac®, and many
mobile devices. Users will need to install free software. For audiobooks,
music, and video: OverDrive® Media Console™. To read eBooks, users
will need Adobe® Digital Editions. Titles can be enjoyed immediately
or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony®
Reader™, and many others. Some audio titles can also be burned to
CD to listen on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end
of the lending period. There are no late fees!

Lahmann, PR coordinator at MRL. “It is easy to use the
service and best of all its free to use it with your library card.
Also, no late fines for items you download.”
This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free
for patrons with their library card. To get started downloading audiobooks,

About Overdrive
Do I need a valid
library card to checkout / download materials?
Yes. Your library card needs to be in good standing. If you need a
library card, stop by the library and sign-up. It only takes a few
minutes. They will issue you a library card and assign a PIN to you.
Both items are needed to download materials. Here's
the details for getting a card.
I forgot my PIN.
How do I find out what it is?
Come into the Library and ask for assistance at the Adult Circulation
Services Desk. For the security of your account, we cannot assign
PINs over the phone.
Is my PIN for my
library account the same one I can use for downloading materials?
Yes. It's the same number.
